For centers with significant volumes of bioinformatics data, we offer you contract of “All-in-One” integrated services where we act as a bioinformatic unit linked to researcher or technical person that is responsible for the bioinformatics infrastructure of the hiring center.
Under this contract, which is annual, the center does not hire a single bioinformatician but more properly a multidisciplinary team of bioinformatic experts composed of biologists and computer engineers providing technical support in the following tasks:
This contract mainly focuses (but it is not limited) on installation and maintenance of the GPRO suite which includes applications and server-side dependencies (software, pipeline, and databases). Not limited means that, as bioinformatics unit, we support every request of the users of the center that hires us.
Thus, our job is not limited to GPRO resources and also covers the installation and maintenance of other bioinformatic tools or packages requested by users. This main include proprietary software purchased by the center or by any user of the center, databases or software created by the users themselves.
For users preferring to manage their analyses via Guide user interfaces (GUI) we can adapt and personalize GPRO-based solutions to access the resources.
For users that prefer to manage the tools via the command line, what we do is to provide them with ssh and FTP access, local sudoer, screen and other permissions to manage the command line interface.
The cost of an "All-in-One integrated services" contract is variable due to the high level of personalization as it depends on the number of users that access and use the infrastructure.
